For 29 years now, Stan has been a resident of South Hill VA. Born in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, he is a 1956 Graduate of North Phoenix High School, and attended Pennsylvania Military College.
Stan started in the burial/funeral protection field in 1958 and became regional manager for Huff Cook Mutual Burial Association in1969. In 1984, Stan became the regional manager of Southside Va for Settlers Life Insurance Co.
Then, in 1992, Stan became an independent insurance broker and president of Lake Country Insurance Agency, Inc. Stan's wife is Mary M. vonGrabill, a part-owner of the business and president since 1999. (Stan says she was probably always the president!) Stan and Mary have been married for 43 years.
