| Description Virginia's Workforce Services program offers customized recruiting and training to companies that are creating new jobs or experiencing technlogical change. The state funded program is designed to reduce the human resource development cost of new and expanding companies throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Working closely with company personnel, Workforce Services offers: 1. Consulting Services a. - Training Analysis b. - Recruitment c. - On-The-Job Training 2. Video Production 3. Funding Funding based on customized buget that encompasses local newspaper advertising, 50% instructor travel, pre-employment costs, instructor costs, and instructional materials. A training incentive is developed for each job by dividing the total budget by the total number of jobs designated for training. This incentive is reimbursable 90 days after the trainee is hired. |
